Why Indian-spec Porsche and Audi cars are stuck on wired CarPlay
If your Porsche (PCM5) or Audi in India has CarPlay that only works through a cable, the cause is regional: India-configured cars ship with 5 GHz Wi-Fi disabled, and Apple's wireless CarPlay requires a 5 GHz connection. The wireless capability is built in — it is simply turned off.
No wireless CarPlay dongle required
We activate the factory 5 GHz Wi-Fi through software, so wireless CarPlay runs natively on your car's own display. No adapter on the USB port, no compromise on responsiveness.
Supported vehicles
Porsche Macan (2019+), Cayenne (2018–2021), Panamera (2021), 911/992 (2019–2021); and selected Audi A6, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, Q3, e-tron (2019–2020) plus VW Touareg (2019+).
Remote activation
Everything is done remotely — share your model, year and VIN for a free compatibility check, then we enable it. Get native wireless CarPlay here. See also: the full country-by-country explainer.
