Across Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, Porsche and Audi owners frequently report CarPlay that only works with a cable. On PCM5 / MH2P systems this is a regional 5 GHz Wi-Fi lock — wireless CarPlay needs 5 GHz, and these markets have it disabled in coding. The hardware supports it; the setting blocks it.
