Israeli-spec cars and the wired-only CarPlay issue
Many Porsche and Audi owners in Israel find CarPlay works only with a cable. On PCM5 / MH2P systems this is because cars configured for the Israeli market have the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band switched off in regional coding — and wireless CarPlay needs 5 GHz. It is a configuration lock, not a hardware fault.
A cleaner fix than a dongle
Instead of plugging in a third-party wireless adapter, we enable the car's own factory 5 GHz Wi-Fi in software. You get genuine wireless CarPlay on the original screen, with no extra hardware and no lag.
Supported vehicles
Porsche Macan (2019+), Cayenne (2018–2021), Panamera (2021), 911/992 (2019–2021); and selected Audi A6, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, Q3, e-tron (2019–2020) plus VW Touareg (2019+).
How to enable it
It is a fully remote service. Send your model, year and VIN; we confirm compatibility for free and activate native wireless CarPlay remotely. Start your activation here. More background: why wireless CarPlay is region-locked.
